The Zappi is a smart EV charger made by myenergi — a UK-based manufacturer specialising in renewable energy products. Unlike standard EV chargers that simply draw from the grid, the Zappi monitors your solar or wind generation and intelligently diverts surplus energy to charge your car.
In Eco+ mode, the Zappi charges your EV using only the energy your solar system is exporting — meaning you can charge your car at near-zero cost on sunny days. The myenergi app lets you switch modes, monitor charging history and track energy savings from any device.

Zappi EV Charger — Supply & Install
We supply the Zappi and handle all installation — wall mounting, cable routing, isolator switch and commissioning. Fixed price provided upfront.
Dedicated Circuit
A dedicated circuit from your switchboard to the Zappi location — correctly sized for the Zappi's output and protected by a dedicated RCBO.
Harvi Wireless Sensor Setup
We fit the Harvi CT sensor clamp to your solar generation cable and pair it with the Zappi unit — enabling solar diversion without additional wiring.
myenergi App Commissioning
We commission the Zappi and help you download and set up the myenergi app — including linking to your solar generation data.
Isolation Switch
An isolation switch mounted adjacent to the Zappi for safe isolation — as required under Australian wiring rules.
QLD Electrical Certificate
A Certificate of Test (Form 4) issued on completion — required for your insurance records and any future electrical work on the property.
Three Charging Modes — One Smart Charger
The Zappi adapts to your solar generation and energy tariff in real time. Choose the mode that suits your situation each day.
Fast Mode
Charges at maximum rate using grid power — the same as any standard EV charger. Use Fast mode when you need a full charge quickly regardless of solar generation or tariff.
Eco Mode
Blends solar generation with grid top-up to maintain the minimum charge rate. Your car always charges, but solar is prioritised — reducing your grid draw and your electricity bill.
Eco+ Mode
Only charges using surplus solar energy — nothing is drawn from the grid. Charging pauses when solar export drops below the minimum threshold and resumes automatically when surplus returns.
